How does the colour change work?

The outer shell carries a reactive finish that answers to two things: moisture and warmth. Dry and cold, the jacket reads solid black. Once snow or rain wets it, or the temperature rises, the colour comes up across the panels in a splatter pattern — and it fades back to black as the fabric dries and cools. There is no battery and nothing to switch on.

Does it only work with snow?

No. Water works the same way as snow, and so does a rise in temperature — which is why the effect often shows indoors or in milder weather too.

Will it look like the photos?

That depends on how wet or how warm it is. A light dusting of snow gives a patchy shift; a proper soaking gives the solid colour you see in the photos. Screens differ too, so treat the shade as close rather than exact.

Is it waterproof and windproof?

Yes. It is a waterproof, windproof shell with waterproof zips, an adjustable hood and elastic cuffs that keep snow out of your sleeves.

Which size should I order?

The size guide on the product page lists the jacket laid flat, in inches and centimetres. Compare it with a jacket you already wear rather than with your body. Planning to layer a hoodie underneath, or between two sizes? Take the larger one. Measurements are taken by hand, so allow 1–3 cm.

Which colours are there?

Five: Arctic Blue, Neon Pink, Electric Green, Blaze Orange and Glacier White. Every one of them is black until it reacts. Sizes S through 3XL in each colour.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener, no dry cleaning. Hang it up to dry rather than tumble drying, and keep it away from radiators and hot irons — high heat is what shortens the life of any coated shell.

How long does delivery take?
